Great stories about good people caught in difficult situations.
Abee Normal Paranormal Investigations
Abee Normal is an eighteen year old paranormal investigator. She
lives and investigates paranormal insidents in the Southern United
States. She is helped in her inquiries by a sprite she rescued from a
Goblin, her dog, and her great-and then some-grandmother, Ma'am. Her
stories are funny and sad, sometimes at the same moment as she and her
friends try to figure out a way forward in a land scarred by slavery.
The books are deeply researched and document some of the history of this
beautiful region of the United States.
My name is Abee Talent Normal. I live in the forest just outside of town in that house you thought was haunted. Abee Normal gives up her dream of going to Princeton in order to stay home and care for her mother, Joanna, who has Multiple Sclerosis. Abee and her great-great-or-something-like-that-grandmother, Ma’am, travel around the United States investigating paranormal phenomena. Abee Normal is bright, funny, and hugely likeable. Her Ma’am is… well, you’ll just have to read to find out. This Case Book is a collection of Abee and Ma’am’s first six cases.
Abee Normal, her great, etc. grandmother Maam, Goji the Goblin hunter, Tippi the sprite return in three more episodes of Abee Normal, Paranormal Investigations. Set in the deep South of the United States, Abee, her Maam, and friends solve paranormal problems for cash.
This compilation includes three episodes: The Case of the Bogle’s warning, Crazy as…, and the Evil in Charleston.
